“Look like a Girl. Act like a Lady. Think like a Man. Work like a Boss.”

There comes a time when all you wanted is to be alone. A time for oneself. But being alone doesn’t mean your running away from your problems, or being too emotionally attached to yourself that you don’t want other people to know. It’s also a way to discover your strength, and probably a moment to unwind and to relax your mind.

I am known to be an independent woman. I know what I want, what I need and what I desire. I hate being dictated. I may be married now, but I am thankful my husband doesn’t restrict me from doing what I know is good for me and what is good for us. We have a give and take relationship.

Same thing goes to the way I dress up. I have my own style. But I also take inspiration from some fashion icons, and I am open to wearing whatever that comes to my mind —it may be crazy, unconventional, and out of this world looks, but hey that’s me expressing myself through fashion. I also dress up depending on my mood.

The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has been before.
